Marcus Pointe is located just 10 minutes north of downtown Pensacola near Hwy. 29, and is five minutes south of I-110 at Exit #10. Found the course to be very challenging, routed through a housing development with yardage from the back tees short at 6,225, 69.8 course rating and 123 slope, designed by Earl Stone. Not a lot of water in play as is usual for Florida style courses, but plenty of trees and sand throughout. Interesting mix of holes, we found it more of a shotmaker's style of layout, more target golf if you will. Well maintained, rates were fair, good restaurant in the clubhouse.

Course is in good condition but showing signs of heavy usage. Greens have numerous ball marks and fairways have numerous divot marks. Tees, traps, and rough are in excellent condition. A little pricey at $51, but a challenging track. Small snack bar has a good selection of food.
