Manvel River's Edge Golf Course

River's Edge is a great little 9 holer about 20 minutes north of Grand Forks, just off I-29 to the west, the first exit north of town. It's what they call a reversible golf course where you essentially can play it backwards, in effect creating 18 different holes. We generally just play 9 holes for a quick round, as do most players. The layout is tricky with the Turtle River winding its way through the course, coming into play quite often. It's fairways are tight, lined by trees, the greens typically play fast and are challenging by themselves. The course was built by the Grand Forks Park District and opened in 1993, designed by Joel Goldstand 3,200 yards from the tips, 127 slope. Easily walkable, fair rates, and a good restaurant for a post round burger.
