Manchester CC is on the east side of Hartford, off I-384 at the Manchester/Main Street exit, then south a mile. It's a good quality parkland style of layout with a few holes routed along the Globe Hollow Reservoir. Very enjoyable layout with scattered trees lining the holes, generally able to recover from off-line shots, plays to 6,339 yards from the Blue tees, 70.6/128. Rates are reasonable for the quality of the course layout, conditions, and facilities, and it's convenient to I-384 if you're just passing through. It's an old classic New England type of layout, originally designed by Tom Bendelow in the early 1900's. Private club feel, both the golf course and the clubhouse.
