Majors Golf Club

The Major's is a good choice for golf in the Melbourne area. It's on the south side of Melbourne, near Palm Bay, the west side of I-95 at exit 173, then south. It's an Arnold Palmer design that from the tips plays to 7,352 yards, 73.8/141, but has tees all the way down to 4,800 yards. The course is routed behind a shopping center on Bayside Lakes Blvd, and through some home sites and around lakes, creeks, preservation areas and natural wetlands. Nice mix of open and tree lined holes, very challenging course from the longer tees, lots of sand and water. The course is generally well maintained, they have a good superintendent here, and the rates are reasonable for the quality of course.
