Luck is a muni, owned by the town of Luck, located about 30 minutes north of St. Croix Falls, 1 1/2 hours from Minneapolis. It's on the south side of Big Butternut Lake in this small summer lake community. The course is a fun course to play with some elevation change as it weaves through tree lined fairways. It's reasonably priced, walkable if you're in decent shape, and generally in good shape. Scenic with some views of the lake from several holes, a little sand and water in play, but mostly it's the tight fairways which will test your game. It's not all that long, and makes for a relatively quick round at 6,100 yards from the Blue tees, 69.3/117 ratings. Nice patio overlooking the lake for a post round brew and sandwich.
