Lost Lake is a semi-private golf course between US 1 and I-06, just south of Kanner Highway. The course is routed through a tightly packed housing development in Hobe Sound, was designed by Jim and Tom Fazio in the early 1990's, and from the back tees is 6800 yards, 138 slope. Fairly typical layout for Florida courses around housing developments, flat, water in play on almost every hole, and a lot of sand. Good sized greens, well guarded by either water or sand, reasonably good condition generally, not one of the top courses in the area, but reliable nonetheless.

We really enjoy playing Lost Lake this time of year when the rates are down. Although the greens were recently punched, they were filling in nicely, and the rest of the course was in good shape, although for Florida this time of year, that's not difficult. Good guest service, saw the cart girl twice, overall a fun round, and a challenging golf course.

Was able to play for $40 afternoon rates, always enjoy playing here, but it's too expensive in the season. Course was in good shape, but I understand they've punching the greens next weekend, so check before you come out. Interesting holes, fun course to play, although the houses lining the course are a distraction.

Course was in good shape, the winterkill completely gone. Enjoyable round, the pace of play was 4.5 hours, nice pace. Played for $45, rates are now starting to come down. Not a bad layout, fair enough off the tee, homes lining the course are a little annoying though.
