Logan River is up in Logan, north of Brigham City, about 1 1/2 hours north of Salt Lake. It's just a pure golf course, no housing or development in play, and is located on the south side of Logan, just east of South 1000 West, on West 1000 South on your way out of town south. The course opened in the mid-1990's, was designed by Robert Muir Graves, and from the back tees is 6,502 yards, with 70.5/124 ratings. The name of the course says it all, there's a lot of water and wetlands in play, in addition to sand, and is not suited for the higher handicappers. Well, they can play it I guess, they will just loose a lot of golf balls. Always in great shape, very lush, challenging, shotmaker's style of layout with tight landing areas, and tough pin positions. Would recommend highly, it's reasonably priced, a hidden gem in this part of the state.

Course is in excellent condition after the weather this summer. Early morning special is an excellent value also. Greens were relatively fast and true. Traps were the best tendid I have seen anywhere this year. Tees were a little beat up, but playable. Snack bar was OK, but nothing special.
