Located in Montrose, midway between Grand Junction and Durango. It's in a residential housing development, and opened in 1999, the second nine in 2003, and was designed by Craig Cherry and from the back tees, 6,682 yards, 122 slope. It's a fairly forgiving course off the tee with good room in the landing area for the tee ball with great views all around of the Grand Mesa and the San Juan Mountains. There's a lot of water on the course, maybe every hole, either a lake or a stream. It's more of an open and links style of course with wide open fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses. Good shape in the middle of this summer, and great rates, in addition to the perfect setting.
