Laughlin Ranch is a planned real estate development community, the golf course was designed by David Druzisky, and plays to 7,155 from the back tees with a slope of 142 with a number of shorter tees.
The course overlooks the town and river valley and is routed through the desert foothills and arroyos of the wasteland here. There's good change in elevation and wide, forgiving fairways with on the large size greens, which tend to be fast and undulating. There's only water on three holes, and in addition to the desert waste areas, there's 65 bunkers. It's a challenging course, the best one in the area, and reasonably priced.
