Las Barrancas is on the east side of Yuma, exit Foothills, then take the service road to 15E. They have a regulation 18 hole golf course, an executive golf course, and a par 3 layout, all desert style layouts, reasonably good maintenance, low rates, great scenery, fun layout, and a spartan clubhouse to say the least.

Arguably the best course in the area. It is off the beaten path but worth the drive. When the wind is calm or slightly breezy, the course is challenging but fair. When it is windy, don't play here. Even if you could club down to reach long par 4s, you will be sand blasted beyond recognition.

For the price...this is one of the worse kept golf courses I have played on. It USED to be a very nice, well kept course, but now...no way! They are not putting any water on the place...the fairways are dry, the greens are burnt and the grass is in distress. The sand traps are like hitting out of a dirt bunker a LOT of bounce to the club. The tee boxes weren't even mowed. I'm not sure what the superintendent is doing, but he's not even checking to see if the sprinklers are covering the areas. If they lowered their priced to $10, then it would be acceptable...I hope they get new management who is willing to pay for the water and fertilizer to get that place looking and playing the way it should
