Lakewoods Forest Ridges GC

Lakewoods is a four season resort, north of Hayward and 8 miles east of Cable The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand, and opened in the mid 1990's. Tough and very challenging course from the back tees, even though it's only around 6100 yards with some forced carries and water, and plays to a 137 slope. The resort is on Lake Namakagon in Chequamegon National Forest, and the course is typical of the northwoods, with tree lined, tight fairways. Greens are good sized, fast, and with good undulations. Nicely conditioned, one of the best courses in the area.
