Three 18 hole courses, but only the Yaupon and Live Oak is open to the public. The Yaupon Course is 6814 yards and 131 slope from the tips designed by Leon Howard. an early day Texas golf course architect. The course features rolling fairways, limestone outcroppings, water features and great views. The front nine has elevated tees and more elevation change, and the back nine is slightly lower in elevation and more secluded with water and rolling fairways. The fairways are wide and soft, the the roughs minimal, water comes into play on 5 holes, but easy to avoid. The greens are average in size, roll well, and slightly undulating. Live Oak was designed by Howard as well. It plays from 6662 yards, 121 slope from the tips. Live Oak is a fun and challenging course to play. It's a development course so housing does come into play a bit, but mostly the fairways are bordered by huge oak trees with a few doglegs, so driver placement is critical for the approach to he green. There are only three traps on the course, and water comes into play on 7 holes. Both, very well conditioned, and can be played as guests of the Lakeway Resort, a Club Corp run facility.
