36 holes of golf here in the Shenandoah Valley, beautiful setting, golf courses are parkland style, well conditioned, small to mid-sized greens, and is most challenging. Designed by Ault Clark, the Mountainview 18 is 6978 yards, 73.7 rating and is the tougher side, the Lakeview is 6517, 70.9 rating, both from the Black tees. Fun and challenging courses to play with major elevation change on the Mountain course, and some more open and links type holes. Great views, routing is through the trees with water in play in the form of lakes and streams. The Lakeview 18, is the more open course with wide open landing zones, undulating fairways and water as well. Either layout is worth playing. If you want the challenge, play the Mountain, if you want to score, play the Lakeview.
