Lake Shore Golf Course is a muni, owned and operated by the city of Oshkosh. It's on the south side of Lake Butte des Morts with a few holes routed along the Fox River, a nice setting for golf. The course has been around for a while, but was renovated and redesigned by Garrett Gill in 2001 and now plays from 4,900 yards to just over 6,000 yards, par 70 with a 68.5 course rating and a 118 slope from the back tees. The course is routed over flat land with tree lined fairways, good sized greens, playable for all levels and straightforward. It has a couple of drivable par 5's in two, and par 4's, nice set of par 3's, overall and enjoyable course to play at a fair rate.
