Lake Powell National Golf Course is a oasis of sorts in the middle of the desert, on a hill overlooking Lake Powell in Page, northern Arizona. The fairways are routed around the bottom of a red-sandstone bluff, atop which sits the town of Page, and is one of the more scenic courses you will play. Great views out over the lake, the Glen Canyon Dam, the Vermillion Cliffs, from all over the course, especially the elevated tees. The course opened in1995, and was designed by William Phillips The two nines are the Lower and Upper Mesas, the Upper side has a 300 foot change in elevation, and the entire course 18 plays to a little over 7,000 yards, with a very tough 145 slope.
