One of several Metropark golf courses in the Detroit area, this track was designed by Sue Nyquist and opened in 1994. At 6,472 yards ( 71.0/125 rating) the layout is not lengthy but one needs to be straight as the terrain is littered with wetlands and ponds. The course is flat and easily walked which, together with its relatively short length makes the 18 popular with seniors. There is a modest amount of bunkering and the greens tend to be relatively level and moderate in size. South of Detroit, the course is accessed from W. Jefferson Avenue. Go past the main entrance to the course entry road. A Metropark pass is not required.
