Kettle Hills is located in Richfield, 20 miles north of downtown Milwaukee, about 1.5 miles west of Highway 41/45 on Highway 167 West. Forty-five holes here designed by Don Zimmerman, rolling hills, parkland style of course with tree lined heavy fairways in a nice secluded setting with not much in the way of homes in play, mostly natural surroundings. You will find your share of hills and ponds and woods to get into trouble, but for the most part the course is gentle and rewarding, and usually in nice shape. Great practice areas, and takes it easy on your pocketbook, with fees in the mid $20's on weekdays and in the high 30's on the weekend. It's a nice break from the more expensive and demanding high profile courses around. The PONDS / WOODS 6787 Yards from Blue Tees, Rating: 73.2, Slope: 129: VALLEY, 6455 Yards from Blue Tees, Rating: 71.5, Slope: 126: and the ROLLING NINE, 9 Holes, Par 36, 3172 Yards from Blue Tees,Rating: 70.8, Slope: 126. Great fairways, and nice thick rough to make it an interesting round, and good for all levels of play.

Course can be a fun layout except that it is often extremely crowded. In spite of heavy usage, greens, fairways, and traps are in excellent condition. Rough, however has a lot of bald spots. Staff is cordial and there are two snackbars, one in the clubhouse and one on the course itself. A good golfing experience in spite of the crowded conditions.
