Keith Hills has two classic parkland style courses and is located between Raleigh and Fayetteville in Buies Creek, about 12 miles west of I-95. The course is operated by Campbell University across the road and is a public facility. The No. 1 course was completed in 1973, is 6,703 yards, 123 slope along the Cape Fear River and was designed by Ellis Maples. The No. 2 course opened in 2002, was designed by Dan Maples and is 6,888 yards. Most of the holes here, are parkland style with dense tree lined fairways on rolling hills with a good amount of water in play, and well bunkered. The greens are bentgrass, mid-sized to large, have good speed and undulation. Challenging courses, especially if you off line on the tee shot. Hidden gem in the Raleigh area, and reasonably priced to play.
