Kahler Glen is two hours east of Seattle in the Wenatchee State Forest and just south of Lake Wenatchee, and is part of the golf/ski resort. Beautiful setting for the golf course, routed through the pine trees at the base of the ski area in the middle of a national forest. Low greens fees, conditioning was good, and the course was a delight to play. It's short at 5,900 yards from the back tees, 68.5/122, par 70, and has a couple of drivable par 4's, and par 5's where you can get on in two. The course was designed by Randy Pelton in the late 1980's, and is a tight, hilly layout through the trees. Very scenic, pace of play was less than 4 hours, and the rates fair given the quality of the course and facilities.
