Good Park is an old Akron muni, on the west side of downtown, off I-77, exit 132 at Mull Avenue. It's a classic old traditional style of course, actually built in the 1920's, and from the back tees is 6,683 yards, par 71, 72 course rating, and 123 slope and was designed by Bertie Way. Even though it's a muni and can be slow at times, it's one of the better choices for golf in the area, especially with the low rates. It's a really nice layout without much in the way of bunkers, especially in the fairways, but all of the fairways are lined with trees, sometimes very tight, and the greens are on the small side. Conditions are OK, not spectacular, but for as much play as it gets, it's what you'd expect. No houses on the course, just pure golf.

OK golf course, guess I was bothered by the slow play. Low greens fees helped a bit, tight fairways off the tee, not a great course if you spray the ball. No ranger in sight, muni type facilities.
