The Idabel Country Club is on the southeast side of Idabel off Lincoln in far southeast Oklahoma. The course is semi-private, open to the public and is a treat to play. It's a short course at only 6,100 yards from the tips, but plays to a 69.7 course rating, and a 122 slope. The original nine holes were designed in the 1940's by Bland Pittman, and is parkland style with half the holes tight, thick tree lined fairways. The backside was added later and is more open, but with some trees and water in play.
