Huron Hills Golf Course is located at Huron Parkway and Huron River Drive adjacent to Gallup Park. If you're in to golf history, this course was designed by Tom Bendelow in 1922, who designed Medinah. It's a short, but walkable par 67 of 5000 yards, parkland style. Gets a lot of play, but is kept in decent shape, and easy on the wallet. Nice course to get out and work on your short game.

I played here last Sunday (6/13/2010) and once again I was struck by what a delightful little course Huron Hills is. The conditions are very acceptable - not manicured but very playable. With my GAM Gold Card the cost for walking 18 on a weekend is $16. The first 7 holes are fairly flat and somewhat uninspiring. However, once you cross the road, the hilly ground really adds to the golf experience. The back 9 has four par-3 holes. Typically my score to par is better on the five par-4's than it is with the par-3's. If you can make par on all the par three holes, you are a player.
