Hunter Station is located 3 miles south of Tionesta, PA on route 62, five miles east of Oil City on the Allegheny river. Great mountain style parkland course with the front side having major elevation change on some of the holes, and others on the back along flat river bottom. It's only 5700 yards, par 71, designed by Jack Sherman, but is well worth seeking out to play if you're in the area, and very reasonable greens fees.

This is a great course in NW PA for the value. Friends and I head north from Pittsburgh to play this course every Fall. Its a tale of two courses between the front and back 9s, making for an enjoyable outing and always a challenge. Some gorgeous views of the Allegheny River valley on several holes adds to the experience. Nice clubhouse lounge area for that 19th hole refreshment. We definitely recommend adding this course to your list.
