Horn Rapids is on the north side of Richland off Rt 240, partially routed through a residential development, and through the desert scrub. The course opened in the mid-1990's, designed by Keith Foster, and has six sets of tees from 4,450 yards to almost 7,000 yards, we always play from the White tees at 6,267 yards 70.7/131 ratings, and it's a test of control off the tee. Somewhat target golf as you attempt to keep the ball on the short grass, and out of the desert as you work your way around. Well bunkered, both in the landing areas and around the greens, water on one hole, good sized greens with some undulations. It's a fun course to play, although conditions have been spotty the last few years, but rates are reasonable.
