Horn Rapids is north of Richland on Rt 240 in a housing development. It's a fun and challenging Keith Foster course which opened in the mid 90's, and plays to 6945 yards, from the tips, 73.7 course rating, and 134 slope. The like to call it a desert course, since off the fairways, it's desert like waste areas and scrub brush, but it has more of an open links feel to it. Conditions are usually OK, it can be very challenging from the back tees, especially trying to hit the small well bunkered greens. This and Columbia Point are the best courses in the area.
