Hillcrest Golf & Country Club

The course is open to the public, and located southwest of Sioux Falls in Yankton. It was designed by Homer Fieldhouse in 1953, and plays to an overall yardage of 6874 from the back tees with a 130 slope, and a 72.2 handicap rating. It's a mostly flat parkland style course with tree lined fairways, a few water hazards, and with light bunkering. The greens are large and open, some a bit raised, can be quick with light undulations. It's a development course, but the homes don't infringe on the course layout. Reasonably good condition, rates was a little high for me as unaccompanied guest, but overall very nice play to play.
