Designed by Tim Nugent and David Ogrin, the course opened in 2005 and is located near Tomball, 30 miles northwest of Houston. The course measures 7370 yards, nd 133 slope from the tips, with 4 sets of tees. It's a unique course with three loops of holes. The first 6 holes are routed through natural ravines and stands of oak and pine trees. The second 6 holes are referred to as the Pine Barrens Loop, and go through the far upper reaches of the property and feature wider fairways, large greens and is framed by native grass waste areas. The finishing loop of holes offers a combination of elevation changes, deep woods and native areas with a creek and rock walls. The course is well conditioned and interesting to play if you're in this part of Houston
