Hideaway Hills is appropriately named, it's remote, and it's hilly, extremely hilly. It's north of ABE in the Poconos, just south of Rt 209 in Kresgeville. Have been here when conditions aren't the greatest, not sure they get enough play to keep it up well, but it's still a riot to play. Four lakes, an island green, 60+ bunkers or so, parkland holes, links style holes, big elevation change, just a lot of fun. It was designed by the course owner, Joe Farda, his only design, but nothing from Joe, Mother Nature had a lot to do with this beautiful layout. You'll definitely want to play this one twice, just to understand the holes and the elevation change. Great fun!

Wow! What a great course, with the elevation change, there's a number of looks you normally don't get on a golf course. Want to get back here in the fall when the leaves are turning, fun layout, conditions were just OK, you can tell they don't get a lot of play up here, and can't afford to maintain it better, but a must play anyway.
