Hidden Valley is west of Somerset off Route 31 near the Laurel Hill State Park, and is a true mountain style course with heavy tree lined fairways, major elevation change and a good challenge. It was designed by Russell Roberts with the existing lay of the land and is 6,589 yards, 133 slope from the championship tees. The sloping fairways present major problems if you're drives aren't right on line. There's a good amount of hole design variety, and from the right tees is fun to play, especially with the elevated tees looking down the tree lined chutes of fairways. Fairly well maintained, and reasonable greens fees.
