Hazen Golf Club is in Hazen, about 1 1/2 hours northwest of Bismarck. The course is a nine holer on the east side of town, not long at 2800 yards, par 35, 112 slope. The toughest hole is here is the #1 handicap par 3 they call "The Shortest Par Five in North Dakota." It's a 200 yarder with an unbelievably sloped, undulating, and crowned green that can easily yield a 4 putt! Fairly routine, back and forth course, some trees in play, but mostly open off the tee shot, not much in the way of bunkering, small to mid-sized greens. Nicely maintained, reasonable greens fees, the only place there is to golf in these parts.
