The course was designed by C.A. Pitts in 2000 and plays to 7074 yards, 133 slope from he back tees. The course is built on rolling land with Como Creek snaking through the holes and surrounded by large mature trees. The fairways, tees, and greens are bent grass and usually in excellent condition. The course features granite walls throughout the course around the greens and teeing areas. It's a great setting, kind of isolated, each hole unique. There's a number of water, either lakes or natural wetland areas, sand is used throughout, but mostly around the small and fast greens. Really worth the drive from either Chicago, Madison, or Milwaukee. .
