Located at the Orlando World Center Marriott, at 536 and I-4 just outside the Disney property, this course plays around 3 sides of the Marriott. Features water on every back nine hole, and is the normal Florida style course with water and sand bordering the fairways, and heavy around the greens. Originally designed by Joe Lee, it was redone around 2001 by Robert Cupp. Priced above the market greens fees because of its location. Usually in good shape and with the upscale Marriott service. OK, but not a locals favorite.

Had an excellent round at Hawks Landing yesterday at a $59 rate. While that's a bit on the high side for us locals, it was a treat to play here. First of all, the greens were excellent, running very fast and a good amount of undulation and character. The course itself is challenging, but wide enough off the tee, the holes are interesting and different, generally presenting several routes to make par. The pace of play was good for a Orlando resort course at 4 hours 10 minutes, and the day was perfect, 80 degrees with a sligh wind. Additionally, I won $6 in a Wolf game!
