Hawks Landing GC

Hawk's Landing is on the west side of Madison in Verona, routed through a residential community off Raymond/Midtown Road. The layout is a John Harbottle design, quite interesting and fun to play. We play from the Blue tees at 6,066 yards from the Blue tees, 69.6/123 ratings, and find it challenging with a lot of variety. While there's some homes in play along a few holes, the routing is mostly over rolling hills with the fairways bordered by tall prairie grasses, wetlands, and lakes. It's bent grass from tee to green, and has always been in great shape. Rates are a little steep on weekends, but it is one of the better choices for public golf in the Madison area.
