The newer of the two courses at Hartland Glenn, the South was desinged by George Duke and opened in 1989. At 5,919 yards (69.2/122 rating), this par 71 track does not require the long ball. However, this course is tighter than its sister course so straight trumps long. A scattering of water hazards and moderate bunkering add some punch to the layout but if one can keep it between the trees, a good score can be had.
Access is from M-59, a few miles east of the intersection of M-59 and US 23.
