Hampton Cove

Hampton Cove part of the Robert Trent Jones Trail is located at the northernmost section of Alabama near Huntsville. It's a 54-hole facility with terrain that changes depending on the course you're playing. The Highlands Course, a links style course in some respects, but has trees throughout. The River Course is the only Robert Trent Jones layout without a single bunker, and is routed through the Flint River Valley area of the property. . The Short Course at Hampton Cove is very open and links-like, with water in play on 11 holes and a large double green accommodating the 10th and 17th greens. Both the River and the Highland Course are great fun to play, and easy on the driving game, allowing for errant shots. As with all the RTJ courses, the complex is well maintained and provides excellent customer service, and a good food and beverage offering.
