Gulf Hills is on Fort Bayou, off I-10 at the MS 609 exit, south toward town, about 5 minutes, midway between Gulfport and Pascagoula. It's a semi-private course, routed through an established residential community over rolling hills. It's an old, established course and community, originally designed in the 1920's supposedly by a guy from Chicago friendly to Capone, very well maintained, enjoyable, old style layout, and some interesting and varied holes. It's rather short at 6,200+ yards, 70.0 course rating and 114 slope, designed by Jack Daray. There's a hotel/conference center on site, but you don't need to stay there to play the course. Somewhat expensive, especially on the weekends, nice clubhouse and restaurant, very convenient to I-10 if you're just passing through.
