The golf course is located 3 hours west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, 2 hours west of Banff, Alberta, and 18km west of Invermere, BC in the Columbia Valley of the Purcell Mountains. The course is at 4,000 feet above sea level so the 7140 yards, 144 slope is not quite as long as it sounds from the back tees. The course was designed by Canadian Doug Carrick, and is your classic mountain course design. One of the many benefits of playing Greywolf is to experience "Cliffhanger", a par three over Hopeful Canyon to a green perched on a shelf with steep drops on three sides...a real treat. The course has significant elevation change through, with fast and undulating greens. Elevated tees and greens and tree lined fairways are the flavor of the day here. It's a spectacular golf course that you really will appreciate on the second time around. Very well conditioned, with excellent staff and food service available.

This course is the best course I've played in quite some time. For the most part the fairways are quite wide so it's not going to eat everyone up but the elevation can definately add strokes to your game. You don't want to venture to far off of the fairways though, the long fescue grass hides balls very well. 4 sets of tees here that can make this course enjoyable from scratch golfers to high handicappers. A must play for all golfers of all skill levels. You will not be disappointed!!!!
