The course was built in 1991, was designed by Robert Elder and plays to 6900 yards from the tips, with a slope of 129. The course is routed on rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania, and is usually in great shape. Some tree lined holes, slight dog legs, some more open and links style, water, sand, some decent elevation change. I like the course's greens, they tend to be large, moderately rolling, and have room for the run up shot. The course has rolling fairways with mature trees, manicured bunkering, water falls and lakes that come into play on ten of the holes.Sort of forgiving off the tee, kind on my game, reasonable price, 1 hour from the Baltimore area, just north of Hagerstown.
