Green Mountain is on the east side of Vancouver, WA just north of the Columbia River and Portland. The golf course has a modest layout and facilities, and is a good course for all levels of play, especially the higher handicappers and beginners. The course is well maintained, especially the greens, which are generally excellent. The layout is a mix of open and tree lined fairways, with some holes more forgiving than other, with a few risk/reward opportunities, with water in play in some form on at least half the holes. It's a good alternative to some of the higher priced courses in the area, and is on the short side at 6,170 yards, 69.8/122 ratings from the back tees, and designed by Bunny Mason.
