Grandover is a 36 hole golf course and resort on the south side of Greensboro, just south off I-40 on I-85. Two courses her by David Graham and Gary Panks, the East and West courses, with the East being the favored layout. The East is 6,600 yards from the Blue tees, 71.8/128, the West is 6,300 yards from the Blue tees, 70.0/125, both with two longer and 2 shorter sets of tees. Two of the best public access courses in the Triad, and you don't have to be a guest of the hotel to play. Beautiful courses to play, reasonable rates for the quality of the layouts. Nice mixture of holes. parkland in nature with trees lining the fairways, a few holes with water in play, and well bunkered, both in the landing zones and greenside, and hilly. The greens are large, quick with a good amount of break, and in good condition. The course has a grass driving range, putting green, full service golf shop, and "19th hole bar" for a post round beer, stoggie, or refuel. The carts include GPS and they have 9th hole "snack shack" along with the beverage cart going around. Very well managed and cared for courses.
