Grand Bear, is affiliated with the Harrah''s casino in Biloxi. It was designed by Nicklaus in 1999 and plays to a total length of 7204 yards with a slope of 143. It's a very well maintained course, has fairly large fairways bordered by a combination of stands of trees, water features, or natural waste areas. There's a good amount of bunkers through the fairways and around the large greens. One of the better courses here on the Mississippi coast.

It was raining for days before I played but fairways were OK, greens were great. Didn't like at the end of round where you can't take cart to your car, and that they tried to clean clubs right away for a tip on the way out.

Grand Bear is probably one of my least favorite Nicklaus' designs I've ever played. Normally I like Jack's stuff, but I I found Grand Bear boring. The course was in nice shape when I played it last fall, but the layout just didn't grab me the way most of Jack's work does. I way preferred the Preserve, a Jerry Pate design that is a little closer to the casinos in Biloxi as well if my memory is right. Saucier, where Grand Bear is located, is about a 30 minute drive from where I stayed.

Grand Bear, fantastic course, very well maintained, no houses, set in the middle of the woods.

For the price this is the best course in Biloxi. Use to be alot higher green fee. Condition is tops along with service. I have played here every summer and it feels like you have the course to yourself. I would rate it on the same level with The Preserve and Shell Landing. All three courses are the best in the area.Customer Service:Great, feels like no one is on the course.
