Two courses here, the Mountain, and the Championship Course. The Championship course at 7100 yards, 144 slope from the back tees is a classic Robert Trent Jones, Sr. mountain layout with tight tree lined fairways, and a lot of elevation change. There's plenty of hazards in the form of water, bunkers, not to mentioned the trees throughout the course, not anywhere to catch your breath. The Mountain Course is an executive style course, par 58, and is 1/3 the cost of the Championship course, and has to be the best executive course in the world for setting, quality of layout, and conditions, just a great place to work on your short game if you can concentrate. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and just carved out of the natural setting here among the tall pines with either fairways or natural waste areas, and with a lot of elevation change, sloping fairways and greens. Both courses well conditioned, and great guest service.

Got my last round in on the Mountain course yesterday. No one on the course, perfect cloud-free day, conditions were fine, and breezed around the course in 3 hours. The course is scheduled to close soon, maybe next week, but I think the Championship course is open till the middle of the month.

Truely, a stunning golf course, setting, and conditions, on the expensive side, but you should experience it once. The best in the Reno/Tahoe area by far.
