North Hampton is located midway between I-95 and Fernandia Beach, off Route 200, Exit 353 off I-95. It's a semi-private course in a residential housing development, designed by Arnold Palmer, and is 7171 yards from the tips, 147 slope, and 75.4 course rating, with five other sets of tees. Open style course with a links feel, and a bit of elevation change, mounded fairways and some rolling hills with sand and water in play throughout the course. Greens are fast and undulating, course is a strategic course which requires thinking your way around it rather than blasting the driver off the tee. One of the better courses in town.

Thought the course was not only fun to play but very tough at a relatively short 6,373 yard from the men's tees, especially for those who can't bring the ball in high over the large bunkers that, in the case of North Hampton, have high lips and bump right up against most of the enormous greens. North Hampton has more than five acres of them, double that of most courses, and I didn't have a flat putt all day. The greens were tough to read, and looking on both sides of the hole was mandatory. We could only imagine how tough the course plays from the tips at 7,171 yards and a rating of 75.4. There are very few opportunities to run the ball up onto the enormous greens, making this a course tough on many women competitors. The fairways were mostly narrow from the tee boxes. They were pinched in by big bunkers, many of which did double duty as cart paths, but when you get out to your ball, they look a lot larger. .
