There's two 18 hole layouts at Gold Mountain, the Cascade and The Olympic, located in Bremerton, just south of the the Sinclair Inlet about 1 1/2 hours west of downtown Seattle.
The Cascade Course is the original course here, opened in 1971, was designed by Ken Tyson, and is 6,707 yards from the tips, 72.2/125, course/slope with four shorter tees. It's a fine parkland layout, scenic through tree lined fairways, mid-sized greens with sand mostly greenside.
The gem here though is the Olympic. It plays to 7,179 yards, 74.1/135, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees, opened in 1996, and designed by John Harbottle. The course is routed through fairways of tall firs, and rolling hills, a fantastic and scenic layout, smallish and quick greens with decent undulation, and plenty of water and sand in play.
