Glen Cannon is on the east side of Brevard in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a traditional style of layout with a good variety of holes with tree lined fairways, and nice natural corridors throughout. The course has been around since the 1960's, designed by William Lewis, and from the tips is 6,500+ yards with a 128 slope, the middle tees are 6,272 yards, 69.8/125. The challenge comes with the amount of water in play on 14 of the holes, and if you haven't played the course, be prepared to loose a few balls. It's fairly level and easily walkable, the conditioning is always good.
