Glasson Golf Hotel and Country Club

Located 2 hours northwest of Dublin on a beautiful rolling tract of land, the course was developed on 275 acres of former farm and grazing land, and opened in 1993 as a full golf and hotel resort. Christy O'Conner Jr. designed the course on the shore of Lough Ree and Killinure Bay, and the holes overlook the lake and bay. The elevation change is 125 feet and reflects the rolling nature of the ground, and it can be played as far back as 7,120 yards, but has a few other shorter tees. Many strong and heroic holes here, but overall an average type layout, but fabulous views.
