The Fazio course at Palmetto Dunes was designed by Tom Fazio's uncle George, and plays to 6,873 yards, 135 slope, and 73.9 course rating from the tips. Long course, excellent design, especially the back side, somewhat forgiving off the tee with good sized landing areas on a few holes, others are tight. A lot of sand and water in play with some forced carries, and a series of very long par 4's. Overall, very well conditioned, interesting and varied layout, one of the better on Hilton Head.
