Fred Arbanas Golf Course At Longview Lake

Longview Lakes is pure golf, no houses with a few holes routed along Little Blue River Lakes, just north of KC Metro Junior College, on the southeast side of town, off the I-470 at exit 6. The course is called the Fred Arbanas Golf Course At Longview Lakes, it was designed by Benz & Poellot, with some redesign work by Craig Schreiner, and from the tips is 6,879 yards. Nice layout and reasonable greens fees, and good conditioning for a muni operation. Relatively easy on the game, with some tree lined fairways and some more open holes where the trees haven't grown in as of yet. Scenic setting, not a terribly difficult course, good for all levels of play, very straightforward hole layouts. Course was in great condition when I played it, some interesting risk/reward type of holes, walkable, but the front is a little more hilly than the backside.
