Foster golf course is just south of downtown Seattle in Tukwila, alongside the Duwamish River, at exit 156 off I-5 south on Interurban Avenue. It has about eight holes where the river comes into play for the average golfer, and about probably 12 holes for me. Short, but tough course, run by the city, so reasonable rates, just very busy. It's a short course at 4,800 yards from the white tees, 61.9/98 ratings, and you can usually get around fairly quickly. Typical parkland style of golf course, opened in the 1920's, designed by George Eddy, tight holes, small greens, leave the driver in the bag and you'll score better here. Nice course, clubhouse, and setting, at some of the lower rates in town.

Terrific track. One of oldest courses iaround that has been totally redone and is in perfect shape. Only criticism is there were no maps of each hole so I had no idea where the greens were on some holes.
