Flowing Lake is a good little parkland style of course layout, 30 minutes east of Everett in Snohomish. It's a short course with a couple of hilly holes, and a lot of water in play. From the back tees it's only 4,265 yards, par 66, and was designed by Gary Laz. of golf from the longest tees for a par of 66. Challenging course, even though it's short with a lot of tree and water trouble lurking throughout the round. Reasonably priced to play, and offers a good quick round of golf. Reasonably well conditioned, small greens, good for working on the short game, doesn't get real busy except for the weekends. Better for the higher handicapper or beginner/families.

short course but tight with small greens. You have to be smart off the tee. The front side greens were top dressed recently but the back side greens were a little better. Good course for the price. Plus they keep marshals out so the pace of play moves along pretty good.
